Are you feeling stuck, or on your own? You don’t have to be alone in this. I’m here for you to talk things through. It takes a lot of courage to come to counselling, and we tend to do it because we’re in pain, or fear. At the root of all this is a part of ourselves that has been hurt, usually in early life – hence this part is known as the “inner child”. Our inner child can remain hurt and frightened long into adult life, continuing to affect us by keeping us stuck in patterns of painful situations and anxieties. Therapy can put us in touch with our inner child, and heal the original wounds that continue to cause the pain.
